Porcelain clay differs from stoneware clay in many aspects, and during the workshop, you will learn what to consider in the ceramic process, as well as tips and inspiration on how to utilize the unique properties of porcelain clay in your creations.

This workshop is for those who want to work with porcelain clay but found it challenging when trying before, as well as for those who are simply curious to try porcelain clay for the first time.

This full-day workshop combines inspiring presentations with independent work in the studio's communal setting.

Elin Ruist works as a craft artist and is based in southern Bohuslän, a few miles north of Gothenburg. She works exclusively with porcelain clay, creating sculptural functional ceramics with organic, delicate forms.

500 grams of porcelain clay are included, after which more can be purchased. Also included is body stain if you wish to color the clay. We will fire your pieces for pickup approximately 4-6 weeks after the course ends.
