Booking and Registration: When you pay for the course, you are automatically registered and booked in your name for the course you purchase. Full refund applies for 14 days (according to the right of withdrawal act) from the payment date. However, this does not apply if the course you book starts within these 14 days.
Cancellation: A cancellation fee of SEK 500 will be charged upon cancellation. For cancellations 7-14 days before the course start, only 50% of the course fee will be refunded. For cancellations less than 7 days before the course start, 25% of the course fee will be refunded, unless we have someone on a waiting list, in which case only the cancellation fee will apply. It is possible to transfer your booking to someone else if you arrange it yourself and notify us in advance with their name and contact details. You can also change your course free of charge (at least 14 days before the course start) to another occasion with the same price, subject to availability. The earlier you rebook, the greater the chance you will get the spot you wish to switch to.

Ceramics instructor Ida from @IDAs Fabrik will guide you through the art of building your own designed candlestick.
Ida will teach you the creative process of hand-building and techniques that work well for candlesticks over two days.
She will guide you to control the clay and inspire you to achieve your vision.
Schedule
Day 1 – 3h where we build our own candlesticks of various kinds
Day 2 – 3h we continue to build, as well as decorate and paint our artworks
After the course, the pieces must dry and be fired, then (by us) glazed with transparent glaze if desired. The entire process takes approximately 6-7 weeks. We will email you as soon as your artworks are ready for pickup.
The course fee includes:
- 3kg stoneware clay - thereafter SEK 50/kg
- metal inserts for candles
- Firing and glazing (done by us with transparent glaze)
- Coffee, tea, and seven kinds of cookies
Prerequisites
No prior knowledge is necessary for this workshop.
Sustainable materials
At Atelje 7, we are very concerned about the environment and work according to a sustainability plan in everything we do. The clays we purchase therefore come as much as possible from Witgerts, which has a strong environmental policy. The clays we provide are available in many different colors and grog grades.
