Welcome to a creative and inspiring Sunday where you will immerse yourself in both floral arrangements and pottery for a day. Guided by Lisa Tellbe from Ophelia Floral and multidisciplinary artist Elsa Ekman, you will explore the interplay between nature and form.

The day begins with an introduction to creating beautiful and sustainable floral arrangements using a fakir. You will learn techniques, composition, and how to allow the material's natural expression to take center stage. Simultaneously, you will be introduced to the world of pottery, where you will shape your own unique fakir vase in ceramic.

Lisa and Elsa will show you step-by-step how to build an arrangement and create your vase. Afterwards, you will have time to work freely and let your own creativity guide you, with support and inspiration along the way.

After the course, you will take your flowers home, tied into a bouquet. You will also keep your ceramic piece, which we will take care of for drying, glazing, and firing.

The ceramic needs to dry thoroughly before firing. After that, we will glaze your piece in one of three selected glazes. Once the glaze firing is complete, your piece will be ready for pick-up, approximately 5-7 weeks after the workshop.

No prior knowledge is required; we will cover everything from scratch.
