Course Structure
For 12 weeks, you will be guided by the skilled ceramist Lisa Ericson, trained at Konstfack (University of Arts, Crafts and Design), who will lead you through art history, hand-building techniques, and decoration. You will learn to shape and express yourself through clay – from sketch to finished work.

As an added dimension, Hannah Widell will, on a few occasions, share her expertise in creativity, personal style, and how to build your brand. She will also mentor you individually in this.

This course is perfect for those who want to develop both their technique and their creative expression, whether you are a beginner or have previous experience.

The course culminates on December 3 with a collective student exhibition at Ateljé 7, where you can showcase your work to friends and family and get a feel for exhibiting as a professional ceramist.

The course fee includes:

  • 10 kg stoneware clay - thereafter 70 SEK/kg
  • Tools, various materials, engobes and underglazes, transparent glaze and firings - brush-on glazes can also be purchased and used for 50 SEK/jar (approx. 40ml)
  • Coffee, tea, and seven kinds of cookies
  • Exhibition/vernissage where we offer drinks and snacks
  • Diploma upon completion of the course
  • An incredible amount of fantastic knowledge and inspiration
